By the time I was about 21 weeks, I somehow managed to maintain my "prepregnancy weight". I lost a little in the first trimester so when I gained it back, I ended up even by 21 weeks. It’s been a while since I posted here. My posts are getting fewer and further in between!!
It’s 20 weeks now - half way! Had a wonderful trip in Europe - it was a great time to take the trip (around weeks 16- 
- I had energy that I didn’t have in the first trimester, and I was still "small enough" to really enjoy my time!!

So things here have been a little crazy lately! I had a scan at 9 weeks (man, I haven’t posted here for a while!) - saw the baby and it looked like a baby this time!! Had a bad doctor experience so decided to change doctors. My previous doctor was really rude to us once we said we wanted to give birth in a public holiday rather than a private one! I guess ...

So I just spend a weekend in Shanghai - that was fun! It’s my first time to "mainland China" after living so close for a year and a half! I really enjoyed getting away, although I was sick for the first time this pregnancy. I think it was more because I was tired/exhausted than actual "morning sickness" sick… I’ve been finding that I need a LOT more sleep these days - I’m waking ...

So last week we went and got our FIRST pictures of our little baby!! Here they are:

So I found out I was pregnant a week ago today. In Australia, when you’re only 4-5 weeks pregnant, you might relax, enjoy it, start thinking all those happy thoughts, etc… but living in Hong Kong, you’ve gotta decide NOW what hospital you want to give birth at - because if you want to book one when you’re 8 weeks, it’s already too late. But first, you’ve gotta go through your medical insurance ...

After trying to conceive for about a year, I’m finally pregnant!! A few months ago, when we were having a bit of trouble, we decided to go to the doctor. She said "Try using ovulation kits for a few months and come back if nothing happens" - so off we went!
